Indigenous Education & Consulting Services

Rooted in Sḵwx̱wu̓7mesh language, culture and ways of knowing, we offer Indigenous-led knowledge sharing sessions and experiential workshops for teachers and students centering local history, language, and protocols.

Our practice uses archival images and community knowledge to make place-based learning respectful, transformational, and reflective of our Squamish worldview.

Knowledge Sharing Sessions

Place-Based Curriculum

Curriculum indigenization rooted in Sḵwx̱wu̓7mesh culture—we develop lessons including local language, territorial history, and land-based protocols for authentic professional development and classroom experiences.

Salish Weaving

Hands-on workshop blending technique and meaning: participants learn weaving methods while exploring the significance of patterns, wool sourcing, and time-honored protocols that sustain intergenerational knowledge.

Archival Storytelling & Research

We use archival images and records as teaching tools, modeling respectful research methods and storytelling techniques that foreground community voices and historical context.
